Liked at first - now the bottle smells Oct 19, 2009 No matter what I do i cannot get the smell out of this bottle. It may not be leaching anything, but it must be porous enough to absorb odors and not let them go. Trying some Sigg bottle cleaners to see if I can get the smell out. It was a great bottle until the odor arrived.

Great water bottle Oct 13, 2009 This water bottle keeps the water cold all day. If you want it really cold, fill it 1/3 of the way, freeze over night, then add the rest of the water. It's great for the kids to take to school and cuts down on the amount of bottles for recycling. Definately worth it if you're big water drinkers.

Insulates Well, Reasonable Price Oct 09, 2009 I purchased one of these insulated bottles a couple of months ago as I was tired of having to drink lukewarm water from my non-insulated bottles (even though I had filled them up with ice cubes before starting my ride). After having tested this bottle for a few months in the summertime heat of DC (it gets warmer here that you might think), I have to say that I'm very pleased with how it performs. I've been on rides up to two hours and the contents are still cold (albeit the ice cubes are pretty much gone by then.)
Pros: - It won't insulate as well as a real thermos bottle (of course) but it worked much better than I had thought it would
- It has a wide mouth, so its relatively easy to insert ice cubes
- It's dishwasher and freezer safe
- I put flavored drinks into it and it didn't retain the flavor after washing
Con: - You may not be able to fit the bottle in your upright water bottle holder, depending on its placement. I didn't have any problem, but your mileage may vary.
If you check the prices for the various colors of this bottle, you can usually find it for just a little more than a non-insulated bottle. (That's assuming choice of color isn't paramount for you ... the more popular colors do cost more for whatever reason.)
Bottom line ... I was very pleased with my purchase and have ordered more of them to replace all of my non-insulated bottles.

best water bottle ever Oct 08, 2009 Fantastic water bottle and best [...] you will spend on hydration. Unlike non-insulated water bottles, this one stays cold even towards the end of your ride.
