Very Comfortable Oct 15, 2007 These bars provide plenty of choices when it comes to hand placement. I'm always able to find a comfortable riding position. And when climbing I can get extra leverage, which I really appreciate on the big climbs. I wish the working diameter (where you attach accessories) was the same as a road bar (15/16" or 23.8mm). Instead it is the same as a mountain bike bar (7/8" or 22.2mm). It is just something to be aware of...

Springy and Sturdy Jul 26, 2007 These handlebars have more hand positions than anybody would know what to do with. If you're thinking about putting these on an existing bike, you may want to also purchase a longer stem, as the "flat bar" position is at least 20mm closer to the rider than where it clamps.
I used these bars on a 2 week tour through Oregon and realized that I never used the top position, as it left me feeling a bit stretched out, and too far from the brake levers.
