My wife like the 3.0, I received the 3.3 and like Reelight Mar 02, 2009 This isn't the item I received, I was sent a 3.3. The 3.0, which my wife has and really likes, must becoming difficult to find. The 3.3 is very bright as in a spot light. I've found that the 3.3 is so bright in a small area that I loose my peripheral vision. I can turn the light off in town, cause I also have a set of Reelights (highly recommended) for visibility.

A decent light for the city Oct 18, 2008 The headlight is sturdy and well crafted. The mounting bracket looks flimsy, but is holding up well so far. Blink mode is extremely bright and effective, but steady headlight mode seems a bit weak - does not light dark streets particularly well. Overall, considering the cost, it's a good light.

Very bright, great light Jul 18, 2008 I purchased this light today to replace the blackburn quadrant
set that I purchased a few months ago, which I now have attched
to my daughter's bicycle. This is a great headlamp.(the quadrant is also
very good) Very bright went it is a solid light, and when I have it set to flashing mode, it seems to be even brighter. Easy to attach, and can be easily removed to take with you, if you commute and have to leave your bike unattended. I would highly recommend this headlight.

City commuter? Here's a light you may want to consider. Jun 26, 2008 So, I was commuting to work one day here in NYC, when I stop at a busy intersection. As it happens, I pull up beside a mini-van full of cyclists (they're wearing the colorful clothes, the beanies, bikes on the roof rack) who were on their way to Central Park to begin a ride through New Jersey. Anyway, one of them leans out the window and says "HowYaDoin!" and asks me what light I was using. I tell him it's a Blackburn Voyager, and that I run it in the daytime now 'cause I was doored earlier in the month (no serious damage--just bruises). He says to me: "Yeah, it's great, my buddies and have been watching you come up on us for the last four blocks."
Point: If the object is to be seen in the city; if the object is to get the drivers/pedestrians attention; this light will do it well. The minimalists cyclist may prefer a Knog Frog (as small as it gets) as this light will stand up from your bars a bit, but I think this light is compact enough for anyone who commutes. The light clicks on and off easily from the bracket, and the bracket is also easy removed from the bike if needed elsewhere.
