Don't buy it Sep 16, 2009 I bought the Air Tower 4 in July and it failed first use. The replacement head is on back order - obviously others are having the same problem. Blackburn keeps telling me "next week". This has gone on for 5 weeks.
No good at all. Jul 12, 2009 I had high hopes for this pump, and even when it began (within the first day or two) to show signs that, like so many other pumps, it was going to be temperamental, I persisted in believing it wouldn't ultimately let me down. It did, though. Three weeks in and it has failed completely. I feel lucky it failed *after* a ride and when I was within reach of another, working pump, or I would have been in pretty bad trouble.
That's it for Blackburn as far as I'm concerned.
A great pump Mar 27, 2009 Inflates things quickly and to high PSI with relative ease. The gauge is easy to read and up top so you can see it while moving the handle.
Complaint: The valve head is a bit tight and somewhat hard to get off the tire when you're done.

DO NOT BUY THIS PUMP!!!! Oct 13, 2008 I recieved this pump last month... DEFECTIVE. The head is a piece of plastic junk and is missing a pin (Don't they look before putting it in the box?). When I tried to use anyway, the tires lost 20-30 lbs of air upon disconnect. Easton told me that they would send out a new hose and head but they were on backorder (I WONDER WHY)until 1st week of October. Anyway, I called today and was told that it is still on backorder and they don't know when they will recieve it. They will not send me a replacement pump. I was told to wait indefinitely. TERRIBLE PUMP>>>> TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE>
Stuck like glue to Presta valve Aug 20, 2008 I could not get the pump head off of the Presta valve on my bicycle tire. In the end, I rotated tire with valve on top to get enough leverage using both hands to yank it off. I was lucky the valve stem did not tear off. This cannot be good for the tire. I will not attach this pump to my bicycle again. Either this pump is defective or this pump is poorly designed. I am returning the pump. Other than this defect, this seems to be a high quality pump. Disappointing.
